A vision for Education

Stemming from the Medine 2005-2025 Master Plan, Uniciti aims at creating a united and caring community that would come alive from an inclusive and vibrant network reflecting a deep, visionary understanding of the future of urban lifestyles.

Encouraging and stimulating human intelligence is at the core of Uniciti’s strategy and the Medine Group’s broader vision. The ambition is to realise a comprehensive and integrated knowledge-based ecosystem through the setting up of the first integrated international campus within Uniciti.

Since 2013, valued institutions and universities such as Vatel, SUPINFO International University and ESCP-Europe have set a solid footprint within our Pierrefonds Campus.

In 2015, the Group launched a new initiative branded ICSIA (International Campus for Sustainable and Innovative Africa) whose vision lies in on securing strong ties and partnerships with elite institutions geared towards research and innovation that wish to settle in Mauritius. Université Pantheon-Assas Paris II, Ecole Centrale de Nantes and Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Nantes are already operating in Law, Engineering and Architecture within the Pierrefonds Campus.

As from September 2017, Middlesex University will be the first to settle within the Uniciti integrated campus. The campus boasts state-of-art infrastructure, inclusive of the finest amenities and technologies that will create a dynamic and productive lifestyle for the students such as a library, lecture halls, IT labs, classrooms, student areas, a cafeteria and other facilities.
