Sparc Uniciti sports complex

SPARC (Sports Aquatics and Recreation Centre) of Uniciti is the newest and largest multi-sport facility and members’ club located on the west coast of Mauritius. Opened in 2018, SPARC offers a premium experience in health, fitness, sport and leisure options.

 

The sports centre also hosts a medical & health centre featuring more than 25 medical and paramedical practitioners, and a Clubhouse café & Dining for its members. SPARC boasts the finest amenities to serve as a choice venue for international sporting events.

    SPARC hosts the only 50m x 25m Olympic-size heated swimming pool with 10 lanes in Mauritius which makes it a distinguishing sporting spot of experienced swimmers or those who love to swim. The pool sports a depth range of 1.35 m to 2m at its highest level with starting blocks.

     

    A full range of classes from learn-to-swim for children and adults, fitness classes and squad training. The pool has conveniently located change rooms and lockers for members.

     

    The pool also has a fantastic inflatable pool obstacle course.

    With all-new, top-of-the-range, Lifefitness equipment, the fitness Centre has innovative group fitness classes that bring some of the latest world trends in fitness to its members.

     

    The full-time qualified staff are there to help, teach motivate and inspire members to reach their fitness goals.

     

  • Football & Rugby Pitches

    With one full-sized Football/Rugby pitch and one training pitch for 7 or 9-a-side games and practice, SPARC is ideal for hosting local as well as major events.

     

    The field embeds a sub-surface irrigation, GPS-marked line points and its own set of change rooms with 2 team rooms.

  • 5-a-Side

    The site hosts 4 pitches bearing artificial turf, 360° netting and night lights.

     

    The FIFA-quality grass is “Field Turf 360XL” with increased thickness and durability, making it athlete-friendly and beautiful looking.

  • Jogging Track

    A 1.3km jogging track winds throughout SPARC’s grounds.

     

    It’s safe, secure, peaceful and can provide a good warm-up before a swim or group fitness class.

  • Petanque

    Two petanque grounds set between the pool and the football pitch and overlooking the west coast makes it a great setting for a relaxing time.

Casela Karting is an exciting 700-metre outdoor track located within the Cascavelle Shopping Village.

 

It is the only go-kart track in Mauritiusfeaturing electric karts as well as a cosy sports bar with a terrace where guests can catch a breathtaking sunset.

Tamarina Golf Club

Designed by the architect Rodney Wright, the 18-hole, par 72 championship course at Tamarina combines technical challenges with sweeping views. A panoramic driving range with 10 undercover bays spread over 43,000m² with natural grass practice tees and greens manicured to PGA standards.

Cavalia Horse Riding

Cavalia provides a great opportunity for horse riding enthusiasts to indulge their passion within minutes from the city. This fully equipped equestrian centre of 25 stables sits on a gorgeous 2-hectare site which also houses an indoor arena, a clubhouse and a parking. It welcomes both novice and experienced riders who can participate in activities such as horse ball and vaulting under the supervision of experienced professionals.
